The draw for the UEFA Nations League play-offs, quarterfinals, and semifinals will begin tomorrow (November 22) in Nyon, Switzerland, at 14:00 TRT.
The draw will determine the quarterfinal and semifinal pairings for League A, as well as the play-off matchups for leagues A, B, C, and D.
TURKEY AWAITS ITS OPPONENT
The Turkish National Football Team, which finished second in League B Group 4 behind Wales, has qualified for the play-offs.
In the play-offs, the national team will be paired with Scotland, Belgium, Hungary, or Serbia, all of which finished third in their respective League A groups.
The Crescent-Stars will compete for promotion to League A in the play-off stage, which will be played in a two-legged knockout format in March 2025.
Championship battle in League A
Teams that finished in the top two of their groups in the UEFA Nations League A have successfully advanced to the quarterfinals.
Portugal, Croatia, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, and Denmark, which made it into the final 8, will be in the quarterfinal draw.
These 8 teams, which will play two-legged knockout matches, will compete for the 2024-2025 UEFA Nations League title.
TEAMS PLAYING IN THE PLAY-OFFS
League A third-place teams Scotland, Belgium, Hungary, and Serbia will face League B runners-up Ukraine, Greece, Austria, and Turkey in the play-off matches. The winners of these pairings will continue their journey in League A.
Georgia, Ireland, Slovenia, and Iceland, which finished third in League B, will face Slovakia, Kosovo, Bulgaria, and Armenia, which finished second in League C, in the play-offs. The teams that advance will compete in League B.
Latvia and Luxembourg, qualifying as the best fourth-placed teams from League C, will play against League D runners-up Gibraltar and Malta in the play-offs. The winning teams will take their place in League C.
MATCH SCHEDULE
In the Nations League, the League A quarterfinal matches and the A/B and B/C play-off matches will be played on March 20 and 23, 2025, while the C/D play-off matches will be played on March 26 and 31, 2026.
The League A semifinal matches will be held on June 4-5, 2025, and the third-place and final matches will take place on June 8, 2025.
