Chilling attack in Şanlıurfa: Opened fire on wedding guests after failing to find a parking spot! Multiple dead and wounded...

In an incident that took place in the Seyrantepe neighborhood of Şanlıurfa's Karaköprü district, a circumcision wedding was stained with blood. While neighborhood residents were enjoying music, a person named Mehmet E., who lived in the apartment building, could not find a place to park his vehicle when he arrived home due to the wedding.

TOOK HIS WEAPON AND OPENED FIRE ON THE CROWD

Allegedly, Mehmet E. began arguing with the hosts of the wedding. As the argument escalated, the enraged individual went to his home, retrieved a shotgun, returned to the wedding area, and opened fire indiscriminately into the crowd. While 6 people were hit by the gunfire and wounded, a 16-year-old girl lost her life at the scene.

POLICE AND MEDICAL TEAMS MOBILIZED

Upon notification, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Paramedics provided initial treatment to the wounded at the scene and transported two people in critical condition to the hospital by ambulance.

ATTACKER BEING SOUGHT EVERYWHERE

Police have launched a large-scale operation to capture Mehmet E., who fled the scene after the attack. While security measures have been increased in the neighborhood, the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
