The accident occurred in the morning hours in the Hortu locality of the Demirözü neighborhood. According to the information received, a Fiat Tofaş brand car with license plate 33 ACS 612, driven by Mustafa Cin, collided with a midibus with license plate 33 KEZ 10, driven by Avni Altınyazar, which was transporting agricultural workers to pick apples.

Those who witnessed the accident rushed to help, and the situation was reported to the 112 Emergency Command Center. Health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region.

Upon arriving at the scene, health teams determined that 1 person in the car had lost their life. 14 injured people, 3 of whom were in serious condition, were transported to Gülnar State Hospital by ambulance. It was learned that 2 of the injured who were taken to the hospital also lost their lives.

While gendarmerie teams conducted an investigation at the scene of the accident, the names of those who lost their lives were also identified. It was stated that those who died in the accident were Hasan Cin (42), Mustafa Cin (53), and Mehmet Perçemli (54).

It was learned that 1 of the injured, who is still receiving treatment at the hospital, is in critical condition, while the others are in good condition.
