Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati announced that a 3-day official mourning period has been declared in the country and that flags will be flown at half-mast due to the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in a helicopter crash.
Mikati's message of condolence was shared by the official Lebanese news agency NNA.
