Bomb threats in France: 4 airports evacuated

It has been reported that 4 airports in France were evacuated due to bomb threats.

According to reports from the French channel BFMTV, airports in the cities of Bordeaux, Nantes, Lille, and Montpellier were evacuated following bomb threats.

Police have arrived at Montpellier Airport, and bomb disposal units are currently conducting searches at the facility.

At Lille Airport, approximately 300 passengers were evacuated at 10:30 local time, while operations at the airport gradually resumed around 12:00.

Following a series of hoax bomb threats targeting schools, airports, and museums in the country in recent days, Minister of Justice Eric Dupond-Moretti announced in a statement to the press yesterday that they would find and punish those responsible for the false alarms.

Yesterday, 6 airports in the country were also evacuated due to bomb threats, but the reports were later revealed to be unfounded.
