The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has shared updated data regarding the blockade implemented in the Strait of Hormuz since 17:00 TSI on April 13.

The statement noted, "U.S. forces are focused, vigilant, and highly motivated in their operations targeting vessels attempting to enter or exit Iranian ports."

CENTCOM reported that in the blockade, which has now passed its 72nd hour, 14 ships have returned to Iranian ports or coastal areas in accordance with the instructions of U.S. forces.

It is known that announcements made to vessels in the region from U.S. Navy warships included the following statements: "Do not attempt to violate the blockade. Ships traveling to or from Iranian ports will be searched for the purpose of interception and seizure.

Turn back and be prepared to accept a search. If you do not comply with this blockade, we will use force."
