Destruction caused by Iran's attack on US base in Saudi Arabia revealed

According to a statement made by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on March 27, the US military presence at Saudi Arabia's Prince Sultan Air Base was targeted. Following the attack, extensive damage occurred to the refueling and support fleet used by US forces.

Examinations based on satellite and base-sourced photographs determined that one KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft was completely destroyed, while three others were seriously damaged and rendered inoperable. Additionally, images circulated from within the base highlighted that an E-3 Sentry AWACS command and control aircraft also sustained heavy damage.

According to American and Arab sources, military personnel were inside a building targeted within the base during the attack. It was announced that 15 US soldiers were injured in the incident, with 5 of them in serious condition.

While the satellite images and photographs released after the attack caused a major stir on social media platforms, the serious destruction in the area was laid bare. While the US Central Command (CENTCOM) has not made an official statement, military circles continue to debate the extent of the damage and the casualties.

In a statement from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard front, it was stated that "some of the US forces' wide-body and heavy refueling and support aircraft were destroyed or heavily damaged." The attack has further increased military tensions and instability in the region.
