Drone attack from Ukraine on Moscow: TASS announces it is the largest in the last two years

A new drone attack by Ukraine on Moscow and its surrounding areas has become a major topic in Russia. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that from Monday evening until 05:00, 620 unmanned aerial vehicles were sent toward the capital Moscow and the Moscow region, 180 of which were destroyed.

In a statement following the attack, Sobyanin said, "Emergency service teams are continuing their work at the sites where the debris fell." Russia's official news agency TASS described the attack as "the largest on Moscow in the last 2 years."

Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov also reported that a warehouse belonging to the Russian e-commerce company Wildberries near Moscow and some other facilities were targeted in the drone attack. Vorobyov stated that at least 3 people, including a 10-year-old girl, were injured in the region.

In a statement from the Wildberries company, it was noted that "minor damage" occurred at the logistics complex "due to debris hitting the building wall." It was recorded that emergency service teams are continuing their work at the points where the debris fell following the attack.
