MANY PEOPLE TRAPPED UNDER RUBBLE IN FACTORY EXPLOSION
A fire broke out following the explosion at the Clairton Coke steel plant, and numerous fire trucks and ambulances were dispatched to the scene. It was reported that many people were injured and trapped under the rubble due to the explosion.
Teams have launched an operation to rescue those trapped under the rubble. The cause of the explosion is not yet known.
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro stated in a press release that they are in contact with local authorities, saying, "The scene is still active and people in the surrounding area should follow the instructions of local authorities."
