It has been reported that 12 people have lost their lives in a flash flood disaster caused by heavy rainfall in Oman.
According to a report by the Oman News Agency (ONA), 12 people, including 9 students and one foreign national, died in the floods.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing for 5 people, including one student, who were in a vehicle swept away by floodwaters.
In a statement from the Oman Ministry of Education, it was announced that remote learning has been implemented in schools in some provinces due to the floods.
