Hakan Fidan invites Pakistani counterpart to quadrilateral foreign ministers' meeting in Istanbul
In a phone call with Ishaq Dar, Hakan Fidan extended an invitation to the regional foreign ministers' meeting to be held in Istanbul.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan held a phone call with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
According to a statement from the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussion covered recent developments in the region and efforts to support regional peace and stability.
The statement reported that Fidan invited Dar to the 4th Regional Foreign Ministers' Meeting to be held in Istanbul at the end of the month. In addition to Turkey and Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt are also expected to attend the meeting.
The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Dar has accepted the invitation and confirmed his attendance at the meeting.
