Israel claims chemical weapons: 'We found them on them'
Israeli President Isaac Herzog claimed in a broadcast that they found a “chemical weapon formula” on Hamas members.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog claimed that “chemical weapon formulas” were found on Hamas members who attacked Israeli territory on October 7.
Speaking as a guest on Sky News, Herzog stated that the Hamas fighters who entered Israel were carrying instructions on how to manufacture chemical weapons. Herzog alleged that they found these on the Hamas members, presenting the claim as evidence that Hamas was preparing to use chemical weapons against civilians.
President Herzog stated, "This is Al-Qaeda material. Official Al-Qaeda material. We are dealing with ISIS, Al-Qaeda, and Hamas. When we look at the instructions provided on how to operate it and how to create a non-professional type of chemical weapon with cyanide, the situation is shocking."

Sky News cannot independently verify the documents that Herzog provided exclusively to the channel. Furthermore, there is no claim that the fighters were carrying components to build bombs on their persons. Sky News decided to blur parts of the documents that contained materials related to bomb-making.
