Israel, which has declared a state of war, has called on its diplomats serving in foreign countries through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be cautious.

The Ministry has placed "all its diplomatic missions worldwide on high alert" due to the attack launched by Hamas from the Gaza Strip into Israel yesterday.

In this context, diplomats have been instructed "not to leave their homes unless they receive special permission from security officials."

WHAT HAPPENED?

The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced yesterday morning that it had launched a comprehensive attack on Israel called "Al-Aqsa Flood."

While thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza toward Israel, armed groups entered residential areas in the region.

The Israeli army also launched an attack on the Gaza Strip with dozens of fighter jets. The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that 313 people had lost their lives and 1,990 people had been injured in Israel's attacks on Gaza. In various cities of the occupied West Bank, 7 Palestinians lost their lives as a result of fire opened by Israeli soldiers. In the Israeli press, it was announced that 350 Israelis had died so far in the attacks launched by Hamas's armed wing, and the number of injured across the country had risen to 1,864.
