Israel-Iran tension: Netherlands to close its embassy in Tehran

Tension is rising in the region as the friction between Iran and Israel escalates. Following the decision by German airline Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines to suspend their flights to Tehran, the Netherlands has announced that its Embassy in Tehran will be closed.
In a statement from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated that the Netherlands' Embassy in Tehran will be closed tomorrow as a precaution, citing the increasing tension between Iran and Israel.
The statement added that a decision on whether the embassy will reopen on Monday will be made tomorrow.
