King Charles, battling cancer, appears before the public
King Charles III of England announced in recent months that he had been diagnosed with cancer. The King, whose treatment is ongoing, attended the ceremony held for the Easter service alongside Queen Camilla Parker Bowles.
The Easter service held in England was the first major event King Charles has attended since his cancer diagnosis.
Buckingham Palace announced last February that the 75-year-old King Charles III of England had been diagnosed with cancer.
In the statement, it was expressed that King Charles 'remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible.'
Buckingham Palace did not share further details regarding the type, stage, or prognosis of the cancer.
Royal sources stated that Charles does not have prostate cancer, but that the cancer was detected during the prostate surgery he underwent the previous week.
