Letter of support to NATO from Greece, Romania, and Bulgaria

In a written statement from the Greek Ministry of Defense, it was stated that Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias signed a letter of intent regarding the establishment of a "Coordinated Military Mobility Corridor" with Romanian Defense Minister Angel Tilvar and Bulgarian Defense Minister Atanas Zaprianov in Washington, where he was attending the NATO Leaders' Summit.

The statement included the following: "The signing of this letter of intent demonstrates the intention of these three countries to establish a military mobility corridor aimed at advancing cooperation between Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania within the framework of a joint network for providing logistical support to NATO."

The statement, which reported that the letter of intent concerns land and rail routes, also noted that it relates to the improvement of infrastructure and networks in regions such as Thessaloniki and Alexandroupoli.
