NATO, EU, and UN speak with one voice after terrorist attack in Russia: 'Must remain united'

NATO, EU, and UN speak with one voice after terrorist attack in Russia: 'Must remain united'

NATO Spokesperson Farah Dakhlallah shared a post on her social media account regarding the terrorist attack on a concert hall in the Moscow region.

Spokesperson Dakhlallah stated, "We unequivocally condemn the attacks targeting concert-goers in Moscow. Nothing can justify such heinous crimes. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack."

'SOCIETY MUST REMAIN UNITED'

European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, in his post, wrote, "I condemn in the strongest possible terms the heinous attack carried out last night outside Moscow. Terrorism has once again targeted defenseless people. The international community must remain firmly united against the scourge of terrorism."

'A HORRIFIC ATTACK'

European Council President Charles Michel also stated in a post on his social media account, "I condemn the horrific terrorist attack in Moscow. The loss of innocent lives is a human tragedy. I extend my condolences to the families of those who lost their lives."

'WE ARE HORRIFIED'

United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk expressed that they were horrified by the attack, stating, "Nothing can justify such an attack. The perpetrators must be held accountable in accordance with human rights law. We stand in solidarity with the victims of this shocking attack."
