Russia strikes Kharkiv: 4 dead, 12 injured
A Russian military attack on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv has left 4 people dead and 12 civilians injured.
Russia has been continuing its attacks on Ukraine since February 2022.
The Russian military targeted Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the night.
Kharkiv Regional Governor Oleg Sinegubov stated in a press release that Russia used at least 15 UAVs in the attack, resulting in the deaths of 4 people, including 3 Ukrainian State Emergency Service personnel, and leaving 12 others injured.
APARTMENT BUILDINGS AND SHOPS DAMAGED
The governor reported that the UAVs also struck the Zmiivska thermal power plant in the region. The attack caused damage to apartment buildings, shops, a medical facility, and parked vehicles.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that 11 out of 20 Shahed drones launched at Ukraine during the night were shot down.

Located 30 kilometers from the Russian border, Kharkiv has been a frequent target for Moscow since February 2022.
