Warning from Russia to the UK: British military facilities outside Ukraine could be targeted
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that retaliation could be taken against Ukraine's attacks using British weapons.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova issued stern messages to the London administration, arguing that the UK plays a role in attacks against Moscow through the weapons it provides to Ukraine.
Speaking at her weekly press conference in the capital Moscow, Zakharova claimed that France, the UK, and Germany are escalating tensions regarding Ukraine. Zakharova specifically drew attention to the Storm Shadow cruise missiles that the UK has been supplying to Kyiv since 2023.

Stating that London plans to provide Kyiv with the necessary information for the production of these missiles, Zakharova said that the Ukrainian army occasionally carries out attacks on Russian territory with these weapons.
In response to attacks on Russian territory carried out with British weapons, British military facilities and equipment located in Ukraine and beyond its borders could be targeted. Those who commit war crimes against our country's civilian population will be punished accordingly.
Zakharova claimed that the UK is a party to the war in Ukraine and called on London to "abandon its aggressive approach toward Russia."
The Russian spokesperson also issued a similar warning regarding the possibility of NATO troops being deployed to Ukraine. Zakharova stated that the deployment of foreign troops in Ukraine is "absolutely unacceptable" and that these troops would become "legitimate military targets."
Evaluating the remarks of Finnish President Alexander Stubb regarding Ukraine's drone attacks on Russian infrastructure during the meeting, Zakharova said that the actions of Finland and "unfriendly countries" would not go unanswered.
Zakharova also stated that they have not received any new proposals for a resolution to the war in Ukraine, arguing that some statements coming from Kyiv are intended to "create a media effect."
