The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) denied Iran's claim that it had struck a US destroyer with two missiles.
In a statement made on CENTCOM's social media account, it was stated, "No US Navy ship has been struck." The statement also added, "US forces are enforcing a maritime blockade on Iranian ports."
