Zelenskyy: Ukraine struck military targets in Russia's Samara and Bryansk regions
Ukrainian leader Zelenskyy announced that targets in Samara and Bryansk were hit, and that new results were achieved in the Black Sea.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that his country has carried out attacks on several military targets inside Russia. Zelenskyy stated that the targeted locations included facilities in Russia's Samara region and positions of an "Iskander" missile unit stationed in the Bryansk region.
In a statement on his social media account, Zelenskyy also assessed Russia's air attacks on Ukraine over the last 24 hours. Stating that Russian forces targeted civilian settlements as well as railway and energy infrastructure, Zelenskyy expressed that the attacks were directed at elements that directly affect daily life.
Zelenskyy reported that the North Bridge over the Dnieper River in Kyiv was targeted, and that a ship in the Chornomorsk Port in the Odessa region was hit by a drone attack.
Emphasizing that Ukraine continues to respond to Russian attacks, Zelenskyy said that facilities contributing to Russia's war capacity were targeted with long-range weapons. The Ukrainian leader stated that "new results" were also achieved in the Black Sea and shared footage of the attacks, which he indicated were directed at targets in Russia.
