Zelenskyy: We have signed a free trade agreement with Turkey

Zelenskyy stated that a free trade agreement has been signed with Turkey. Zelenskyy said, "The subject of the agreement had come to the agenda some time ago. We discussed this. This was the first meeting during my administration.

We had decided to make such agreements a few years ago. We have decided to increase the trade volume between our countries from 1 billion dollars to 10 billion dollars. We have achieved quite good results in this regard," he said.

Stating that the other topic discussed was negotiations, Zelenskyy said, "The second topic we discussed was negotiations. We are extremely open to negotiations. President Erdoğan said he is ready to host a bilateral meeting for peace negotiations. I also said that if President Erdoğan organizes such a meeting, we would support this idea.

We have always stated that we have good relations with President Erdoğan. Therefore, if such a summit is organized, we are ready to participate. If such a summit can contribute to the establishment of peace, we will certainly participate. We also discussed security issues. We see a very strong partnership potential. Some military issues were also extremely important," he said.
