Tesla is raising Model Y prices in the US again!

Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has announced that it will raise prices for the Model Y in the US. In a statement made by the company's CEO Elon Musk on Friday, it was stated that all Model Y prices will increase by 1,000 dollars starting April 1 via its website.

According to the report by T24, it is known that Tesla also increased the prices of its rear-wheel drive and long-range Model Y vehicles by 1,000 dollars on March 1. With that increase, the prices of the vehicles had risen to 43,990 dollars and 48,990 dollars, respectively.

In the company's statement, it was not specified whether the price increase in April would exceed the increase in March. However, it is also recalled that Tesla temporarily lowered the prices of some Model Y cars in the US shortly after reducing prices in Europe and China.

CEO Elon Musk had spoken in February in response to a post on X stating that prices would rise in March, saying, "This is the essential quandary of manufacturing: factories need continuous production for efficiency, but consumer demand is seasonal."
