7 new features for Togg

The Togg T10X will offer many new features to users with its new 1.5 software update.

According to the statement from the company, Togg continues to add new capabilities to the T10X through software updates.

With the updated 1.5 software and ADAS transformation, many features that will enhance the mobility experience of users are being activated in the T10X. Following the software installation and transformation to be carried out at specially prepared contact points, users of V1 and V2 devices will begin to have access to 7 features, including a traffic sign recognition system, rear traffic collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, intelligent lane keeping system, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and emergency braking.

For V2 devices delivered to users before September 1, in addition to these 7 features, adaptive cruise control with stop-go functionality and adaptive driver assistant features will also be installed as standard and free of charge.

Togg CEO M. Gürcan Karakaş, whose views on the subject were included in the statement, stated that they aim for T10X users to use devices that are constantly renewed and remain new thanks to updates, and used the following expressions:

"Since the day we were founded, we have been a brand that listens to the voices of our users and keeps the devices on the road constantly new with the frequent updates we offer. In line with this principle, we have created and shared with our users the schedule for the long-awaited new 1.5 software, the installation of advanced driver assistance systems for T10Xs that hit the road before September 1, and the hardware renewal to be carried out at contact points. One of the most important changes made within the scope of the GSR II regulation, which came into effect on September 1, was the implementation of the cybersecurity protocol. Due to the changing cybersecurity standard, our cameras in devices produced after this date needed to be made compliant with the new standards."

Gürcan Karakaş noted that they completed the developments on this issue, put them into operation on time, and offered them to their users in the devices they delivered after this date, emphasizing that they adopted it as a responsibility to provide the same standards and experience to the devices they delivered before the GSR II regulation.

Explaining that they planned the contact point appointments that require hardware renewal in order to fulfill this responsibility, Karakaş made the following assessments:

"Because of this sensitivity, it took time for the ADAS features to reach our users whose devices were delivered before September 1. In this way, the change in regulation did not victimize any T10X user. On the path we set out on for 'more than an automobile,' we continue our short, medium, and long-term plans with all our strength and speed in line with our goals."

THE PROCESS BEGINS ON NOVEMBER 4

According to the information provided, T10X users registered as "my smart device" will be contacted by Togg Care starting from November 4, following a notification to be sent via Trumore, based on their geographical region, the order in which they received their devices, and the update status of their devices.

Appointments for users will be created starting December 2, and they will be directed to contact points. ADAS installations will be carried out at contact points specially prepared for these operations in Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa Gemlik, Izmir, Samsun, Erzurum, Diyarbakir, Adana, and Antalya. Expert teams will provide services to users at these points. The installation and calibration of ADAS functions will take place on the same day. The installation of the application on all T10Xs delivered before September 1 will be completed in about 7-10 months.

The new 1.5 software, which also offers a renewed media interface, allows the T10X's screen touch sensitivity to be changed in three levels. One of the new features will be the dynamic display of the maximum recovery that can be made on the instrument cluster screen according to the charge status of the smart device. On the other hand, users who install and update the "my smart device" application with the 1.5 software will also be able to start using the digital key and digital key sharing features.

With the new software, users will be able to have a more comfortable driving experience with performance improvements, as well as new digital assistant commands, Bluetooth preference priorities based on profile assignment, and navigation directions reflected on the driver screen. Users will also be able to learn their average speed, tire pressures, or range with voice commands, control the volume, and use the phonebook synchronized with the T10X to make calls with the help of voice commands.
