Ali Koç's wife Nevbahar Koç introduces her new brand

Nevbahar Koç, wife of Koç Holding Vice Chairman Ali Koç, and Esra Tümen Dinçkök, former wife of businessman Raif Ali Dinçkök, introduced their jointly developed niche perfume brand, House of Nulla, at a special event.

The launch night attracted the attention of many figures from high society and the business world, as well as world-renowned guests.

The new collection was showcased under the name "The Beautiful Darkness" and drew inspiration from a rare flower native to Turkey's Halfeti region, known as the "black rose." With the black rose at the heart of the perfume, Nevbahar Koç said regarding the fragrance design, "We wanted to interpret the black rose note through three different characters."

Speaking to Vogue about the creation process of the collection, Esra Tümen Dinçkök stated the following:

"The figure of Tapputi, known as one of the first perfume masters in history, was particularly inspiring for us. In the ancient world, fragrance was not just an aesthetic element; it was also an important part of rituals, temples, and mythological narratives. In many cultures, scents were used as an inseparable part of offerings to gods, purification rituals, and the atmosphere of sacred spaces. Therefore, in the story of House of Nulla, fragrance serves as a sensory narrative space that connects with the past."

Regarding the development phase, Nevbahar Koç emphasized the brand's signature notes, saying, "Although fragrances inspired by this flower have been created in perfumery before, what was important for us was to place the true botanical character of the Halfeti black rose at the center of the scent. We wanted this note to be one of the signature notes of House of Nulla. It was a development process that lasted about two years. The first scent to emerge was Black. Later, Amber and Spice were developed through changes we made to the basic composition of Black and by adding new notes."
