The Greedy

We are facing the biggest robbery in our history.

The lost money is twice the market value of Turkish Airlines (THY) and four times the cost of the 24 banks that went bankrupt during the 2001 crisis.

Is there any other nation in the world as greedy as this?

I don't think so.

Starting with Banker Kastelli, then Titan, Jet Fadıl, Tosuncuk Offshore, Çiftlik Bank, Thodex, Seçil Erzan, and finally the fund crisis that began with Tera.

Our people love making money the easy way.

But there is no such world.

If the gain is great, the risk is also great.

Our people always have their ears on someone else's money.

They have always been curious about how much their neighbor earns.

Someone else's earnings have always seemed attractive to them.

The logical instruments for making money have always seemed insufficient to them.

When you invest your money somewhere, if you can sleep comfortably when you put your head on the pillow at night, that is the greatest gain.

When you put your money into risky investments, you know yourself that you won't be able to sleep at all.

Even though you know this, because the prospect of earning a lot is sweet, you never give up on putting your money into risky investments.

Then you will have to bear the consequences.

Those who sold their homes, cars, and gold to invest in these funds should have known that this would happen to them one day.

Because there is no such gain. You cannot put in 1 and get 40 thousand back.

All countries in the world have gone through such events.

The biggest of these occurred in America in 2009.

Our hero here is Bernie Madoff.

This man did this for 40 years.

Madoff defrauded all the people we call smart, including Jews and celebrities of that time.

He collected 60 billion dollars over 40 years.

This event in Turkey has lasted 4 years. The loss is 20 billion dollars.

It is a very serious amount of money for the Turkish economy.

Therefore, you cannot get out of this situation without tracing the 4-year fate of the lost money.

I would say I can understand those who have a little less money and want to earn a lot, but I don't even understand them.

What should be said about the names who were victims in the Seçil Erzan case? In my eyes, they are not victims at all.

I don't want to list their names here. You all know them closely.

You have enough money to last not just for 7 generations, but for 77 generations; what more are you chasing?

You have a villa, you have a summer house, you ride in the best cars, you travel the world, you have significant money in banks.

What more are you chasing?

What is this if not greed?

I don't feel an ounce of pity for those who lost their money this way.

Those who lost their money through these methods say they were defrauded, but they know very well that they were defrauded while trying to defraud others on the path they chose.

You should be careful and not gamble with your money.
