Artist Luka brings his new exhibition 'Essence' to art lovers
Artist Luka, who has participated in more than 200 national and international group exhibitions to date, has opened his 26th solo exhibition, 'Essence', at the Red Rouge Art Gallery to mark the 30th anniversary of his artistic career.
Artist Prof. Dr. Lütfü Kaplanoğlu (Luka) most recently held his twenty-fifth solo exhibition at the London Art Space in London, Ontario, Canada, where he also served as a visiting professor at the Ivey Business School.
Luka, who has made headlines with his international art projects in addition to his group and solo exhibitions in Turkey and various parts of the world, focuses on the concept of essence—the most fundamental human issue—in his 26th solo exhibition, 'Essence', during his 30th year in the art world.
REFLECTING A TRAVELER'S SOUL
The imagery of nature that emerges from the artist's traveler soul resembles the representation of another form of existence. The figures, positioned somewhere within nature, call for a purification from both the solid reality we inhabit and the rapid flow that has become identified with it, as well as from the crowds in the mind.
LUKA's exhibition titled 'Essence' can be visited at the new art and design gallery, Red Rouge Art Gallery, between January 27 and February 17, 2024.
