'Vague Voids and Whirlpools Within Us' exhibition meets art lovers
Bahadır Yıldız's solo exhibition titled 'Vague Voids and Whirlpools Within Us,' curated by Nergis Abıyeva, is meeting art lovers at Quick Art Space until February 29.
'Vague Voids and Whirlpools Within Us' features works by Bahadır Yıldız in various mediums, including painting, sculpture, and installation, which he began producing and completed between 2012 and 2023, many of which are being presented to the audience for the first time.
The concept of “carrion aesthetics,” coined by Yıldız himself and referencing the repulsive visual quality of waste plastic, emerges as an element shaping the exhibition in terms of defining the artist's practice of both production and thought.
