Founded in 1454 in the Fener district of Istanbul, the Phanar Greek Orthodox College attracts the attention of both local and foreign tourists with its historic and magnificent architecture.

According to 12punto's report; the Phanar Greek Orthodox College, one of the three Greek educational institutions operating in Istanbul, will open its doors to visitors on December 16-17 due to a Christmas bazaar.

ENTRANCE FEE IS 200 TL

Citizens who wish to enter the school, which can be visited between 12:00 and 17:00 on the weekend, will pay 200 TL.

KNOWN AMONG THE PUBLIC AS THE 'RED SCHOOL'

The Phanar Greek Orthodox College was founded in 1454 in the Fener district of Istanbul.

This massive structure, built in 1881 by architect Pericles Demades using materials imported from France, is known among the public as the 'Red School'. The school has been providing education in Istanbul's Fener district for 569 years.
