Snowboarder jumps over the Tourist Eastern Express to draw attention to the train

TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ's Tourist Eastern Express, which has seen intense interest in recent years, takes its passengers on a 25-hour journey along a route filled with beautiful scenery.

Departing from Ankara and following a route through Kırıkkale, Kayseri, Sivas, Erzincan, and Erzurum, the train reaches its final stop in Kars after covering 1,310 kilometers.

Snowboard athlete Süleyman Atlı, wanting to draw attention to the Tourist Eastern Express, which is considered one of the four best train routes in the world, jumped over the train in Sarıkamış.

A FIRST ON THE ANKARA-KARS ROUTE

In a post regarding the event, the Kars Governorship stated the following:

"A first in Kars, and perhaps in the world... A first occurred during the Ankara-Kars journey on the Eastern Express, one of the most beautiful routes in the world. Famous snowboarder Süleyman Atlı achieved a first in Kars, the city of firsts, by jumping over the Eastern Express with his snowboard in Sarıkamış, the land of crystal snow.

We congratulate Süleyman Atlı for performing this magnificent show, as well as Kars Governor Ziya Polat and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure for enabling this organization to take place."
