Teoman changes his marriage age: '70 is too early, I'll start thinking about it after 80'
Singer Teoman has updated the age limit he set for marriage, stating, "I think it's too early. I'll start thinking about marriage after I turn 80."
The master of Turkish rock music, 55-year-old singer Teoman, drew attention with his remarks about marriage during a chat with journalists in Cihangir.
According to a report by Habertürk, Teoman brought up the subject of aging and stated that he had made some changes to his thoughts on marriage:
"We're done for, we're getting old. The years are going by very fast. After reaching a certain age, it gets even faster. I've also changed my thought about marriage at 70. I think it's too early. I'll start thinking about marriage after I turn 80. Neither the new generation nor the old generation will understand me," said the singer, who also noted that his previous comments were incorrect and mentioned that his new album was liked by far more people than he had expected:
"I had made this album for a small audience and for myself. Young people like two-minute songs. There are even 13-minute songs on my album. I wanted to make an interesting album, that's why I did it this way."
