11 suspects arrested in investigation regarding Ahmet Özer: Judicial control for one person
Out of 12 suspects referred to the courthouse in the investigation regarding former Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, 11 have been arrested.
In the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to uncover the activities of the PKK/KCK armed terrorist organization, 12 suspects, who were determined to have had continuous and intense contact with former Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer—who was arrested for membership in the organization—had been referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest.
While 11 suspects referred to the duty judgeship were arrested, 1 suspect was released under judicial control conditions.
