134 wanted individuals apprehended in public order operation in Istanbul
In a public order operation in Istanbul, 134 individuals who were wanted or had finalized prison sentences were taken into custody.
Officers from the Istanbul Police Department's Preventive Services Branch conducted the 'Martyr Assistant Commissioner Tarkan Biber' public order operation in Esenyurt, Beylikdüzü, Avcılar, Gaziosmanpaşa, Kağıthane, and Beyoğlu, aimed at preventing general public order crimes and apprehending suspects.
JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS INITIATED AGAINST THOSE APPREHENDED
During the inspections, 134 people were apprehended, including those wanted for various crimes such as carrying unlicensed weapons, motorcycle theft, forgery of official documents, and drug dealing, as well as those with finalized prison sentences.
Judicial proceedings were initiated against the suspects.
