180 dollar warning for oil!

The Wall Street Journal reported that sources within the Saudi Arabian oil sector are working intensively to analyze the effects of the ongoing war with Iran on global oil prices. According to the report, Saudi sources express that they are not satisfied with what they have seen so far. Warning of a potential increase in prices, these sources project that if current disruptions continue, oil prices could rise to as much as 180 dollars per barrel by the end of April.

180 DOLLAR FORECAST FOR OIL PRICES

According to statements from Saudi sources, if the war and disruptions in the global oil supply continue, oil prices are expected to exceed the 180 dollars per barrel level by the end of April. This forecast highlights the extent of the current tension's impact on energy markets.

These developments emerged following Iran's attacks on the South Pars gas field and the Tehran administration's retaliation against energy facilities in the Gulf region. Concerns regarding the energy supply in the region have steadily increased. Israel's recent attack on Iran's South Pars field and the targeting of the Ras Laffan energy hub in Qatar with Iranian missiles have further reinforced these concerns.

At the same time, the possibility of the US launching a ground operation against Iran's major oil hub, Kharg Island, is also on the agenda. This is seen as a signal of a broader military intervention against Iran.

The US and Israel launched a military attack on Iran on February 28, and in response, Iran carried out retaliatory strikes against Israel and Qatar, as well as US bases in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. As the conflict enters its third week, the targeting of energy infrastructure by the parties has led to major fluctuations in global markets. In particular, the possibility of a US ground operation against Kharg Island, Iran's oil export hub, has increased the pressure on the markets.

THE IMPACT OF ENERGY SUPPLY SHORTAGES WILL INCREASE

During this process, the attacks and tensions occurring in the region could further complicate the global energy supply. Experts in the Saudi Arabian oil sector point out that under conditions where such disruptions and the war continue, oil prices could rise even further.
