30 million lira fake Botox operation in Istanbul

Police teams in Istanbul conducted an operation at two locations, seizing 30 million lira worth of fake and smuggled aesthetic filler materials and Botox products brought into the country. It was determined that the seized products were brought into the country from the Middle East.

Istanbul Financial Crimes Investigation Bureau teams launched an operation after identifying 2 individuals who were bringing drugs into the country through illegal means and storing them in Başakşehir.

In light of the information obtained, an investigation was initiated under the coordination of the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

During technical and physical surveillance, it was understood that the suspects were bringing in drugs used primarily in beauty centers. It was determined that the products were brought from Middle Eastern countries.

30 MILLION LIRA WORTH OF PRODUCTS SEIZED

It was determined that the products, which are used in personal care and beauty centers, were being stored at 2 addresses in Başakşehir.

Following the investigations, an operation was carried out at those addresses. During the raid, 15 thousand 159 filler materials and products used during procedures, 1407 medical devices, 154 Botox drugs, and 206 Botox devices were seized.

It was learned that the seized products are worth 30 million lira.
