UNLICENSED SHOTGUN DETAIL

According to the information obtained, it was revealed that Özdemir purchased the shotgun he used in the attack from a person named M.A. for 12 thousand TL, and that the weapon did not have a license. It was learned that the person who allegedly sold the shotgun is currently in prison for another crime.

It had been stated that the attack began with a dispute arising from a combine harvester transaction. It was noted that Özdemir first killed Ahmet Uzel, Bekir Toprak, and Numan Toprak; then, while fleeing, he killed Seydi Ahmet Aydoğmuş and his wife Satı Aydoğmuş, whose vehicle he wanted to hijack, as well as İsmail Şen and teachers Hilal Mete and Ayşe Sena Demir.

The vehicle the attacker hijacked was found stuck in the mud in the rural Taşlık neighborhood of the Seyitgazi district of Eskişehir. It was determined that Özdemir, who was found to have abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot, later hijacked the car of a person selling milk in the area.

Özdemir, who was stated to be trying to escape by reaching the main road, was caught and taken into custody by police and gendarmerie teams. The attacker, who was referred to the courthouse after his procedures, was arrested by the judge on duty and sent to prison.
