A new phase has been reached in the investigation launched regarding the incidents that occurred in November at Istanbul High School (İEL). Within the scope of the work carried out by the Provincial Directorate of National Education, findings have been reached indicating that the incidents were not limited to internal school dynamics but were deepened by the influence of individuals and groups outside the school.

In line with these findings, it has been learned that a criminal complaint will be filed regarding a group of alumni believed to have had an influence on the students.

PREPARATIONS FOR CRIMINAL COMPLAINT

According to the report by Ceyda Karaaslan from Sabah newspaper, it was determined that behaviors disrupting school order and undermining student safety were exacerbated by the influence of certain individuals and groups outside the school. Accordingly, the role of the alumni group in the incidents continues to be investigated. Preparations are being finalized to submit the obtained findings and documents to judicial authorities.

It was stated that the Provincial Directorate of National Education is preparing to file a criminal complaint with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the allegations in question. Officials emphasized that the legal process will be conducted meticulously within the framework of legislation, stating that the presumption of innocence will be respected and that no one will be accused without a finalized judicial decision.
