The long-awaited operation in an investigation closely concerning tradespeople organizations in Antalya has been carried out. Acting on the instructions of the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Antalya Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch conducted simultaneous raids on numerous addresses in the early hours of the morning.

The process, which has been on the city's agenda for some time and described as the "tradespeople operation," has gained official status with the operation carried out.

TRADESPEOPLE REPRESENTATIVES TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

Within the scope of the operation, many individuals, including Tradespeople Credit Cooperative President Turgut B., who manages credit resources for tradespeople in Antalya, and Metin B., a former professional chamber president, were taken into custody.

The suspects, apprehended at their addresses by KOM teams, were taken to the police station for questioning. It was reported that the processing of the detained individuals at the police station is ongoing.

SIMULTANEOUS RAIDS CONDUCTED

It was learned that simultaneous raids were carried out on numerous addresses during the operation conducted in the early morning hours. It was stated that the teams are continuing their search and examination work at the designated addresses.

While it is suggested that the number of detentions could increase within the scope of the investigation, it was reported that the inquiry is continuing.
