Cabinet reshuffle in YENİ Party by Özgür Özel: 3 names to depart

It has been claimed that Özgür Özel, who left the CHP to establish the YENİ Party with 90 deputies, will make changes to the party leadership.

Journalist Sinan Burhan, known for his proximity to the government, suggested that Özel would make changes to the party to put an end to the 'YENİ Party is continuing with old names' debate.

Speaking on Tv100, Burhan said the following:

“Starting in October, Mr. Özgür Özel and his team will renew the party's public-facing leadership.

And it will begin first with a change in the YENİ Party's parliamentary group deputy chairmen.

Let us state that Ali Mahir Başarır, Gökhan Günaydın, and Murat Emir will hand over their duties in October.

It is expected that changes will be made in the parliamentary group to end the ‘YENİ Party is continuing with old names’ debate and to send a message of a new opening to the public.

In this context, significant changes are expected in the YENİ Party leadership in October, starting with the group deputy chairmen.

Mr. Özgür Özel is conducting a pool study regarding names from the worlds of sports, arts, civil society, and academia.
