CHP Chair Özel visits Sırrı Süreyya Önder

Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and DEM Party Istanbul MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder was hospitalized yesterday evening due to a heart condition, and his treatment continues in the intensive care unit following surgery. CHP Chair Özgür Özel visited Önder and received information from officials about his condition.

Making a statement after the visit, CHP Chair Özgür Özel said, "We all received the bad news toward midnight last night. From that moment on, we were in dialogue with the co-chairs, with Ms. Pervin, and everyone present here. We are praying. The doctors spoke about a situation where many complications coincided, but they also mentioned the developments.

A heart that is very kind, very pure, that wishes well for everyone, and that has always advocated for peace for Turkey is now inside.
