Journalist Murat Ağırel claimed that Trade Minister Ömer Bolat had purchased funds and sold them before the crisis erupted.
İsmail Saymaz also alleged that two deputy ministers had invested money in one of the funds.
İYİ Party İzmir Deputy Ümit Özlale had asked Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) regarding the 'fund crisis' whether a minister had deposited 470 million liras into his father's account and exited the fund with 830 million liras, and whether his Chief of Staff Fatih Kılınç had money in the closed fund.
Yılmaz, regarding the allegations brought up by Özlale, stated that Chief of Staff Fatih Kılınç had suffered a major loss in the fund where he had invested 7 million liras, and responded, "If everyone who invests is guilty, let's send them all to court at once. Such a thing cannot be."
WITHDREW THE MONEY BEFORE THE FUND CRISIS ERUPTED
Journalist Murat Ağırel announced the name of the minister who purchased the fund on Sözcü TV.
Ağırel claimed that Trade Minister Ömer Bolat had purchased funds and sold them before the crisis erupted.
Journalist İsmail Saymaz, on the same program, stated that two deputy ministers had invested money in one of the funds and said the following:
Ümit Özlale is talking about two ministers. It is understood that one of them is Trade Minister Ömer Bolat. It is alleged that another minister invested in one of the funds through his father.
We do not know who that person is at this stage. As far as I know, two deputy ministers also invested money in one of the funds.
