Claims of 'bomb threat before CHP rally' in Beyazıt: Statement from CHP
It was alleged that a bomb threat was made in Beyazıt before the CHP rally and that a search was conducted in the area. A statement regarding these claims has been issued by the CHP.

It was claimed that a bomb threat was made before the rally the CHP is set to hold in Beyazıt Square.

CHP DENIES
According to the report in Sözcü, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik denied the report. In a written statement he made via social media, Çelik used the following expressions:
"The statements appearing in some media outlets such as 'a bomb threat was made in Beyazıt Square' do not reflect the truth.
I have spoken with official authorities. A bomb search is a routine procedure performed at every rally. There is no such report.
We will be at Beyazıt Square at 20:30 this evening to uphold the national will."
