Concert in Kars cancelled due to assassination of Haniyeh
The Kars Governor's Office has announced that the Erdal Akkaya concert, which was scheduled to take place today in the Bedesten area, has been cancelled following the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran, the capital of Iran, leading the Kars Governor's Office to cancel the concert that was planned for today.
In a written statement from the Governor's Office, it was reported that the Erdal Akkaya concert, which was to be held today in the Bedesten area, was cancelled due to the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh.
Kars Governor Ziya Polat also shared a message on his social media accounts, stating, "I pray for God's mercy upon Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh, who was martyred in the vile attack carried out in Tehran, and I extend my condolences to the brotherly Palestinian people. May the Lord accept his martyrdom."
