Cousin murder in Salihli: Debt dispute ends in bloodshed
In the Salihli district of Manisa, A.C. shot and killed his cousin, Bahri Curacı, during an argument over a debt. Efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect, who fled the scene.
The incident occurred at a kiosk located on 602 Street in the Gaziler neighborhood. According to the information obtained, A.C. (32) and his cousin Bahri Curacı (25) encountered each other at the kiosk. It is alleged that following an argument over a debt, A.C. opened fire on his cousin with a handgun, leaving him critically injured, and then fled the scene. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. The critically injured Bahri Curacı was taken to Salihli State Hospital after receiving initial intervention at the scene. Despite all medical efforts, the 25-year-old could not be saved. Curacı's body was taken to the Salihli State Hospital morgue.
The police have launched an operation to capture A.C., who shot and killed his cousin.
