Critical contacts by MIT Chief Kalın in Cairo
MIT Chief İbrahim Kalın met with the Prime Minister of Qatar and the head of Egyptian Intelligence in Cairo.
According to information obtained from security sources, Kalın, Al Thani, and Rashad met in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, as mediator and guarantor parties.
During the meeting, the transition to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in response to Israel's increasing violations in the Gaza Strip and the intensification of joint efforts in cooperation with the US were discussed.
It was also agreed during the meeting to continue strengthening coordination and cooperation with the Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) to remove all obstacles to ensuring the continuity of the ceasefire and to prevent violations.
In his contacts, Kalın emphasized that Turkey will continue to stand by the Palestinian people with all its means, as it has always done.
