Devoted father takes his disabled son around the neighborhood

12-year-old Ahmet Budak was born with cerebral palsy. Aydın Budak, a father of five living in Yüksekova's Yeşildere neighborhood, cares for Ahmet with great devotion despite all the challenges and gives his children the attention they need. Budak, who works in ironwork, began building a special standing frame for the disabled in his own workshop just to see the happiness on Ahmet's face.

With the frame, which he completed after weeks of work using his own resources, the father takes Ahmet around in a standing position, pushing him through the neighborhoods with an iron rod attached to the frame. This selfless and compassionate act by Aydın Budak has warmed the hearts of those around him.

'FOR JUST ONE SMILE OF HIS...'

Stating that he built the vehicle he had always dreamed of for his son's happiness and is finally able to take him out, father Budak said, "I built the vehicle I had dreamed of for weeks just for one smile of his. Seeing him happy like this is enough for me. My son, who has cerebral palsy, normally has wheelchairs, and we take him out in them, but he needs to stand for an hour, so I took action for that. We tried every way, but he always had pain in his feet while standing. Then, to get that happiness, that smile of his, I started building the standing frame for the disabled that I had dreamed of."
