In the morning hours, there was activity at the Financial Crimes Bureau.

An elderly woman in custody fell ill, and an ambulance was called to the Financial Crimes Bureau. It was learned that medical personnel intervened to treat the woman who fell ill inside the bureau.

The Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had launched an investigation into suspects, including Engin Polat and his wife Dilan Polat, for the crimes of 'Prevention of Laundering Proceeds of Crime, violation of the Tax Procedure Law, and violation of the Law on Regulation of Betting and Games of Chance in Football and Other Sports Competitions.'

Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Financial Crimes Investigation Bureau, which launched an operation within the scope of the investigation, had detained 24 of the 34 suspects for whom arrest warrants had been issued. Within the scope of the investigation, their assets had been seized.

The Polat couple will first be taken for a medical check-up at 07:30 in the morning and will then be referred to the Anatolian Courthouse.
