Stating that there were no negative situations in Istanbul, the statement read, "Following the 6.1 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Sındırgı, Balıkesir, assessment efforts by our field teams and relevant units are ongoing.
No reports of any damage have been received in our Istanbul so far, and our relevant units will continue their work throughout the night.
We convey our best wishes to all our citizens. May God protect our country and our nation from all kinds of disasters," the statement included.
