Election excitement in 6 towns: Voters head to the polls tomorrow
Tomorrow, voters in six settlements that have gained town status will cast their ballots to determine their mayors and municipal council members.
In six locations that recently attained town status, citizens will head to the polls tomorrow to elect their local governments. The elections will be held in accordance with the Law on Local Administrations and Neighborhood Headmen and Council of Elders Elections.
The locations where the elections will take place have been identified as Yolüstü and Çevrecik in the Reşadiye district of Tokat, Bağtaşı in the Almus district, the town of Kuşçu in the Yeşilyurt district, as well as the town of Tekke in Gümüşhane and the town of Mustafapaşa in the Ürgüp district of Nevşehir.
In these six new towns, voters will determine their municipal council members in addition to their mayors tomorrow. A total of 27 political parties have applied to participate in the elections. There are 41 parties nationwide that are eligible to participate in elections.
PARTIES ON THE BALLOT
The order of the parties participating in the election on the combined ballot paper will be as follows:
"Justice Union Party, DEVA Party, Homeland Party, Justice and Development Party, True Path Party, Great Unity Party, Felicity Party, New Turkey Party, Communist Movement of Turkey, Republican People's Party, Local and National Party, Motherland Party, Democratic Left Party, Future Party, Technology Development Party, IYI Party, Key Party, New Welfare Party, Democrat Party, Justice Party, Anatolian Union Party, Communist Party of Turkey, Nationalist Movement Party, Victory Party, Independent Turkey Party, People's Liberation Party, Center Right Party."
