Emotional letter from İmamoğlu to his mother Havva Hanım: We will reunite very soon
CHP's imprisoned Presidential Candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu sent an emotional letter to his mother, Havva İmamoğlu, from the Marmara Prison where he is being held.
Ekrem İmamoğlu, who has been imprisoned at the Marmara Prison in Silivri for 191 days, addressed his mother, Havva İmamoğlu, with emotional lines via his social media account.
"My dear mother, I am writing this letter from my cell in Silivri. I kiss your cotton-soft hands. I miss you so much. I miss you so much too. Don't worry, I am fine. My health and morale are good. Don't be sad at all, my dear mother, these days will pass. We will reunite very soon. I love you very much."
SHE READ HER SON'S LETTER IN TEARS
The moments when Havva İmamoğlu read the letter she received from her son in prison were shared by the Presidential Candidate Office account.
Havva İmamoğlu, who read her son's emotional letter in tears, stated that she could not make sense of her son's imprisonment and spoke as follows:
"Let this dungeon end. Won't this dungeon end? Let it end. I entrust him to God, to my God. Everyone, all the children... Everyone's children are my children too. How long will this last? What did he do? What did he do? Everything is beautiful, in my opinion... I think he did everything beautifully. As long as he doesn't get sick. Let him not get sick. Don't look at me because I cried now. Let him not get sick. That is what I pray for. Let him not get sick, let him not be sad. May God give him patience. May he spend these days with patience. I am waiting for him."
